Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC) EMPAC Studio 1 8 pm, free 110 8th Ave., Troy, NY 518.276.4135 I'm excited to present a concert at EMPAC, one of the world's foremost performance venues, located on the campus of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. The first half of the concert will feature solo contrabass, as well as a new sound & video piece by rise set twilight, my duo with Linda Aubry. The second half of the evening will be all about The BSC with our very special guest, Pauline Oliveros (accordion). The BSC is a large improvising ensemble from Massachusetts: Bhob Rainey (soprano saxophone/leader)
