FALL 2011 This fall's schedule includes a journey to Shackleton's Antarctica via puppetry, dance, film, and music; underground noise/rock music; a film series steeped in déjà vu and non-linear timelines; the return of both onedotzero's adventurous film programs and new music vanguards JACK Quartet; a reinvention of the ancient Greek satyr play; knob-twisting, head-bopping beats by two of Britain's finest; a generous dose of multichannel electronic music from Montreal's annual AKOUSMA festival; contemporary and 2,000 year-old traditional Indian dances; the premiere of the recent DANCE MOViES Commission's installation and films (featuring a live punk marching band!); discussions spanning the arts and sciences; and an unexpected pop music spectacle.
