Jon Mikl Thor was a steel bending, brick smashing, bodybuilding, rock star in the 70's & 80's whose ultra-theatrical band THOR hit the scene alongside Kiss and Metallica. After a brief but memorable film career starring in the cult classics like Rock 'n' Roll Nightmare and Zombie Nightmare, Thor all but disappeared from the entertainment map. Then ten years into retirement, incapable of continuing to live like a "normal mortal human being", the Rock God resurrected his alter ego in an attempt to capture the one thing that had eluded him... a Platinum selling LP. Tracing the rise, fall, and rebirth of this charismatic and determined performer, I AM THOR paints a fascinating - and sometimes unbelievable - portrait of this larger-than-life icon.
