Laurie Anderson, Delusion - image © Leland Brewster This fall, EMPAC presents a calendar of events including an operatic spectacle featuring Capital Region actors and cheerleaders; an exhibition about anxiety; a building-wide sonic landscape; a poignant stop-action film with a rock-star band; a theatrical performance bridging concert, cabinet of curiosities, and video installation; an intimate dialogue in movement reflecting life; and many more performances, exhibitions, workshops, talks, screenings, and concerts. Add to all this the first biennial festival Filament on October 1-3 and the opening of Evelyn's Café (under the management of The Epicurean), and it is shaping up to be a busy and action-packed fall.
