Faust (German for "Fist") is a band from Germany that first became famous in the '70s, particularly in Britain. They are frequently credited as being one of the two or three most important/influenti
The bands influences include the Velvet Underground, Zappa and Pink Floyd, as well as the music and theories of serious 20th Century "classical" composers, such as John Cage and Karlheinz Stockhausen.
